About the Speaker:
Alf Inge Wang received his Master and PhD in Software Engineering at NTNU in Norway. In 2007 he established a Masters program on game technology at NTNU as well as JoinGame, Norway’s largest profession network for game developers and game researchers. In 2012, he initiated the start-up company Mobitroll based on his idea for the lecture game Kahoot! [https://getkahoot.com/]. Dr. Wang has 80+ international publications in areas such as software engineering, software architecture, mobile computing, CSCW, game-technology and game-based learning. He teaches programming, software architecture and game technology at NTNU. Dr. Wang’s current research focus is on game-based learning and he is currently on a sabbatical leave at UC Irvine.
